Here is Just Getting Started (2017)
What can’t aging actors do? Even when their grey hair is all that we can, Just Getting Started introduces us to the all-time-actors that drop back with style. As directed by Ron Shelton, Just Getting Started is a film that will drive you into a series of laughter triggered by these old men and women. In the film, Duke Diver (Morgan Freeman) is the man popularly known for his resort where partying, and champaign speak louder than anything. In the town, everything is for Duke and no one seems to lay any sort of competition even when it comes to women.
However, there is a new “guy” in town, Leo (Tommy Lee Jones), a pleasing former military veteran, who drops by at the Villa Capri and it seems like he is more experienced than anyone could imagine. Adding to that, is Suzie (Rene Russo), a lady who knows how to party until dawn. The trio engages in partying, games like golf and poker, all in the name of “who is the best”. Accompanied by a group of aging men and women, there seems to be no winner and this means that another bet must be presented to find a champion. Exploring through charming scenes, the trio’s games are paused after it turns out that an unknown person wants Duke dead.
In the end, the competitive fellows have to join forces and save Duke before he is killed. The film is both directed and written by Ron Shelton and it comes as the last film for Glenne Headly, who passed away in June 2017. The film is scheduled to be released by Broad Green Pictures, but it was initially titled as Villa Capri. The action and adventure comedy presents some of our best Hollywood actors Morgan Freeman, who also stars in Going in Style (2017). He is such a funny character in the film and excellently reveals a freestyle that many aging men would love showcase. The 80-year-old actor is one of the best Hollywood actors behind some of the best films in the Hollywood industry. He previously won an Academy Award for Best supporting actor for his role in Million Dollar Baby
On the other hand, Tommy Lee Jones is another energetic actor known for various blockbusters such as Jason Bourne, Men in Black and The Missing. The actor has been nominated for various awards, scooping some of them. In the same way, Rene Russo is another inspiring actress with incredible acting tactics.
Just Getting Started is produced by Bill Gerber and Steven Richards. In conjunction with Entertainment One, the film will make your day. It also stars Glenne Headly, Elizabeth Ashley, Mel Raido, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Joe Pantoliano. The film is scheduled for a December release
